Family Friendly Festival in Yorkshire

Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival

Taking place in Skipton on July 22nd and 23rd, the Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival brings plenty of attractions in addition to its fine selection of consumables, including a Vintage Fun Fair, birds of prey exhibit, and other fun activities. Deer Shed Festival 8

From July 21st to 23rd, Topcliffe, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, promises to bring the magic of a Pixar movie to the whole family. There will be live music, comedy shows, theatre, cinema, and plenty of food and drink, so everyone from toddlers to grandparents should find something to suit their tastes.


You’ll find the spectacular Elizabethan stately home of Burton Constable Hall just 10 miles north east of Hull and 15 miles east of Beverley. From September 22nd to 24th, the venue will play host to plenty of family-friendly activities, and children can attend for free. From the Judy’s Attic Craft Tent to zorbing balls and old time fairground rides, you and your family certainly won’t want for things to do.

Staxtonbury 9

From July 7th to 9th, Staxton, Scarborough will hold the Staxtonbury 9 music festival. Known as one of the most welcoming and family-friendly musical events in the country, Staxtonbury 9 will also bring arts and crafts sessions, kid’s movies, magic shows, a kid’s disco, and sports coaching, so there really will be something for everyone.


Sledmere House, near Driffield in East Yorkshire, is going to be a great place for children from August 17th to 20th. Parents will be drawn to the musical acts of the world’s largest tribute band festival, while the little ones can run wild in the Kid’s Zone.

WensleyAle Festival

From May 26th to 29th, you can experience the WensleyAle Festival in Redmire, North Yorkshire. Children might not be able to indulge in the festival’s primary draw, but this is still a family-friendly event. With live bands, heritage trains, and a great set of activities, it offers plenty to enjoy for visitors of all ages.
